Electricity
A Continuous Service Agreement (CSA) helps ensure rental properties remain connected when a tenant moves out. When Orangeville Hydro is notified of a tenant moving out, the electric service is automatically transferred back into the property owners name, and ready for the next occupant. The property owner will also be notified of the account transfer, ensuring they remain informed and aware of any changes to service at the property.
If a Continuous Service Agreement is not in place and no new tenant information has been received, the electrical service will be disconnected upon the tenant’s move out date.

Water & Sewer
Where applicable, the water and sewer service will be transferred to the property owner’s name and an account set up fee may apply.
